I am deeply concerned about Virgin Media’s proposals to close their Albert Dock office with the loss of 435 jobs.
I have met with union representatives and I am working with them.
Currently a 90 day consultation is ongoing. I have made strong representations to Virgin Media to express my deep concern.
I am calling on Virgin Media do everything possible to retain an office in Liverpool.
It will be a massive blow for over 400 people to lose their jobs and I am doing all I can to help.
